HUMAN ALCHEMY COLLECTIVE

LIFE CHANGED THE PLAN.

YOU CAN STILL BECOME STRONG AGAIN.

YOU ARE NOT STARTING FROM NOTHING.

You may be starting with a changed body, interrupted confidence and a life that no longer responds to the old plan. That is different from having nothing.

The experience that brought you here has already taught you how to endure, adapt and pay attention. The next step is to turn those abilities into a structure you can repeat.

This guide is for people who want to feel physically capable again without pretending that illness, surgery or loss never happened.

THE FIVE FOUNDATIONS

01 — BEGIN WITH THE BODY YOU HAVE TODAY

The old standard may no longer fit. Honest assessment is not surrender; it is the first useful training decision.

02 — BUILD CAPACITY BEFORE INTENSITY

Repeatable work creates a base. Heroic days followed by long recovery gaps do not.

03 — MAKE NUTRITION TOLERABLE AND SUFFICIENT

The best plan is not the most theoretically perfect. It is the one your body can digest and your life can sustain.

04 — TREAT RECOVERY AS PART OF THE WORK

Sleep, hydration, digestion, stress and nervous-system state shape what training can produce.

05 — REBUILD IDENTITY ALONGSIDE STRENGTH

The deeper question is not only whether your body can improve. It is whether your worth can become larger than what your body proves.

THIS MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

• illness or surgery changed your body faster than your identity could adapt;

• you want to train again but no longer trust the old all-or-nothing approach;

• fatigue, digestion, hydration or interrupted sleep complicate conventional advice;

• you are physically capable on paper but feel disconnected from yourself;

• you want strength to support your life rather than consume it.

Human Alchemy coaching does not replace medical care, rehabilitation, psychotherapy or individualized nutrition treatment. It helps organize training, habits and recovery around the guidance of your qualified clinicians.

I HAD TO LEARN HOW TO REBUILD WITHOUT PRETENDING NOTHING HAPPENED.

I spent more than two decades pursuing strength. Then an emergency total colectomy, eight months with an ileostomy and later J-pouch surgery changed the body and identity I understood.

I went from roughly 235 pounds to 154 pounds in seven weeks. Eventually I rebuilt to approximately 220 pounds and returned to training four days per week—but the most important change was not the number on the scale.

I stopped asking how quickly I could become the old version of myself. I began learning how to train the person who had actually survived.

Human Alchemy Collective grew from that process. It brings strength, nutrition, recovery and awareness together around the real person doing the rebuilding.

A GUIDE CAN GIVE YOU A FRAMEWORK. COACHING MAKES IT PERSONAL.

If you want help turning these principles into a structure that fits your training history, current capacity and actual life, begin with a conversation.

There is no pressure to prove that you are ready. We will look at where you are, what has changed and whether Human Alchemy is the right support for the next stage.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THIS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WITH AN OSTOMY OR J-POUCH?

No. My lived experience informs the work, but the framework is for people rebuilding after many forms of illness, surgery and major disruption.

IS THIS REHABILITATION OR MEDICAL TREATMENT?

No. Human Alchemy provides coaching and general education. Medical clearance, diagnosis, rehabilitation and clinical nutrition belong with qualified healthcare professionals.

DO I HAVE TO BE READY FOR HARD TRAINING?

No. The starting point may be walking, restoring routine, tolerating food, establishing recovery or rebuilding trust in movement.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?

I review the application and, when the fit appears appropriate, arrange a conversation about your goals, history and current constraints.

STRENGTH CAN RETURN IN A DIFFERENT FORM.

More patient. More intelligent. More connected to the life it is meant to support.
